Philadelphia Orchestra Brings in Strong Support for Fallen Heroes in Blue

The past two years have been horrific for the Philadelphia Police Department. Seven officers have given their lives in service to the Philadelphia community. This sacrifice did not go unnoticed by the great musicians of our Philadelphia Orchestra and Soprano Mary Elizabeth Williams.

The Orchestra led by Mastro Rossen Milanov, along with Ms. Williams’s emotional rendition of God Bless America and America the Beautiful, illustrated to the families of our fallen heros that their loved ones were not forgotten.

The Fallen Heroes Concert (see news clipping) raised approximately $160,000 to help replenish the FOP’s depleted Survivor’s Fund, This fund helps the families of our fallen heroes cover everyday needs for their families.

Many thanks to the Philadelphia Orchestra, their Board Chair Joseph Jacovini of Dilworth Paxson, and the Fraternal Order of Police for spearheading heading this beautiful event. God bless all of our fallen police heroes and their families.
